A scenic 20-minute drive from Cashiers, Highlands features a charming downtown with wonderful restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and coffee shops. One of our favorites is Ristorante Paoletti, where we celebrated the night we got engaged!

Fun spot to hang out, grab a bite, and enjoy the laid-back Cashiers vibe. There’s a large outdoor area where kids and dogs can run around, and they often have live music in the evenings. Great drinks, good food, and an easy place to relax right in the heart of town.
If the guys (or girls!) are looking for something to do and the weather is nice, this public golf course just outside of Cashiers offers a fun round with beautiful mountain views.
Fly fishing in Cashiers offers some of the best trout fishing in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you’re interested in going out, let us know. Jessie’s boyfriend, Logan, is a local and can point you to some great guides and spots in the area.
